Julie is the Director of Finance at FreeGulliver, where she oversees all aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
Prior to FreeGulliver, Julie worked for the global financial guarantee insurance company, Syncora Guarantee Inc in New York City. During her ten years with Syncora, she held multiple roles within the Finance and Accounting department performing general accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and internal audit. During this time, she also earned her CPA license.
Outside of work, Julie leads a busy life with her husband, Mike, and their three daughters, Virginia, Margaret, and Adele. She is a regular volunteer at her children’s school, serving as a board member of the PTC and event committees. You will often find her helping backstage at a ballet recital or theater production.
Julie is a graduate of Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business where she earned a B.S. in Marketing and a Masters of Accounting.
